Dale Vanderwerff is a LEED AP (Accredited Professional).
These days, with our environment at the tipping point, most builders are calling themselves energy efficient and ”Green.” We really are. True LEED accreditation is a long and strenuous education process that few local contractors have actually considered. Dale Vanderwerff successfully completed all classes and has become a LEED Accredited Professional. Our company is committed to being responsible to our world, our nation, our communities, our families and ourselves, while building exquisite, solid structures that meet the needs and the budgets of our clients.
True LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) construction includes architectural design using sustainable materials (windows, framing, roofing, flooring, exterior and interior walls), efficient mechanical systems (plumbing, electrical, fire protection, heating and air conditioning) and environmentally conscious construction processes and techniques. LEEDs focuses on sustainability, water and energy efficiency and environmental quality. Cutting corners now will catch up to our clients later – and not much later! Future energy prices, climate changes, and governmental regulations, right here in the northern suburbs of Chicago, are already on their way.
If you follow the LEED’s initiative, you and your organization can stand tall, your people can be healthier, your productivity larger, and your building’s longevity increased by doing what is right and we have been trained to accomplish exactly that.
